I help teachers like you stop working nights and weekends without sacrificing your quality of teaching, so you can live a life full of joy, hope, and impact.
I’m a high school English teacher and a business owner, a step mom and a dog mom, a yogi, a climber, a backpacker, so I know what it’s like to be multi-passionate… and always on the go.
I’m endlessly curious and an unapologetic go-getter. I thrive on organization, productivity, and checking things off my to-do list, which means I’m constantly thinking of ways to get more done in less time and I love helping others do the same.

You don’t need to work around the clock or miss out on important moments to be an effective teacher.
Focus on doing a few things extremely well instead of spreading yourself too thin trying to do ALL. the. things.
Being a teacher should be fun! If something isn’t serving you or your students, it’s time to make a change.

They’re overworked, underpaid, under-appreciated, under-supported . . . frankly, the list goes on.
Teachers are the backbone of our schools and the number one factor in student success.
We need to keep great teachers in the classroom.
Unfortunately, great teachers are the first to burn out.
We can’t expect teachers to stay in the career if if means sacrificing their personal lives and self-care.
Because as much as you love teaching, you’re not just a teacher. You’re a whole dang person with hopes and dreams and interests beyond the four walls of your classroom.
And what I end up seeing is way too many teachers who are burnt out and frustrated by the overwhelming workload, and who end up sacrificing their time off just to fit in more work.
The teachers who make a difference and who are remembered by their students are not the teachers who come to school bitter and exhausted from spending every waking moment planning lessons and grading.
The teachers who make a difference are the ones who are rested and refreshed and excited to be back after a vacation – because they actually took the vacation.
Students won’t remember you for having perfect handwriting or perfect classroom decor. And they certainly won’t remember you for your essay feedback or that one email you answered at 3 am. In fact, they also won’t remember that one email you didn’t answer.
Instead, students will remember the energy you carried into the classroom every day and the way you made them feel.
Think about all those productivity books and podcasts and programs you’ve tried. They haven’t moved the needle because they’re not for teachers. They’re for business people and CEOs in the corporate world.
Teaching is a job unlike any other with unique intricacies, constraints, and considerations, which is why all those productivity books and podcasts and programs just don’t translate into our teacher world.

Every Monday, I was either beating myself up for missing out on family time to get caught up on lesson plans or I was beating myself up for not opening my teacher bag all weekend.
Spending evenings answering emails instead of playing go fish with my daughter?
Spending weekends and school breaks grading essays instead of hiking, climbing, or lounging at the beach?
Spending my summers redesigning my curriculum (AKA reinventing the wheel) instead of seeing more of the world?
I wanted to do something that mattered. But as each day passed, I felt more and more panicked that my life was slipping away before me while I spent hours grading essays long into the night.
It wasn’t until I started leaning in to my obsession with organization and productivity that I found my balance. And once I found that balance, everything else fell into place.
I saw other teachers struggling with the same thing and knew that I could help them stop wasting time on the wrong stuff and start spending time on the right stuff.
